Our Story
From humble beginnings to a thriving community of faith.
The story of Jesus the Anointed One Church began with a small group of believers who shared a vision for a new kind of church — one that would not only nurture spiritual growth but also actively serve the practical needs of the community.
Gathering first in homes and community centers, this faithful group prayed, worshipped, and dreamed together. They believed that the message of Christ's anointing was not meant to stay within church walls but to overflow into every aspect of life — spiritual, social, emotional, and physical.
Today, we have grown into a vibrant faith community rooted at 12 Greer Crescent, Wellington. Our church has become a spiritual home for families, individuals, and seekers from across the Wellington Region. We continue to hold fast to our founding vision while embracing new opportunities to serve.
Our leadership is dedicated to shepherding this congregation with wisdom, humility, and compassion. We believe in equipping every member for ministry, recognizing that each person has been uniquely gifted by God to contribute to the body of Christ.
